About Us

We don't just process hemp, we grow it too.

Pure Industrial grew out of Pure Shenandoah, a family owned & operated hemp company founded in 2019 with a simple, zero-waste philosophy: use the whole hemp plant.

While Pure Shenandoah focuses on the flower for consumer products, Pure Industrial works with the stalk—turning it into materials for building, farming, and manufacturing.

As demand for plant-based materials grew, we chose a different path—growing and processing hemp domestically to reduce reliance on imports and support American farmers.

The Founding Fibers

Recognize these guys? They grew hemp too.

Hemp was a foundational American crop. Leaders like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison cultivated industrial hemp—most notably at Mount Vernon in Virginia—using it for rope, sails, cloth, and other essential materials.

Today, Pure Industrial carries that legacy forward in Virginia by growing and processing hemp in the US and using the whole plant to create modern industrial materials. Just as our Founding Fibers intended.
