materials made for you

Hemp for construction
Handcrafted hempcrete blocks that are lightweight, breathable, and naturally insulating.

Hemp for animals
Clean, absorbent, low-dust bedding that keeps barns, coops, and enclosures healthier.

Hemp for manufacturers
Hemp fiber, processed in-house and ready for whatever you’re crafting next.
Hempcrete:
Walls that work harder than concrete
Hempcrete blocks store heat and releases it slowly, so you run your AC or heater way less
Rated to withstand direct flame for up to 2 hours without failing.
Making concrete creates pollution. Our blocks remove it.

Hemp bedding:
Bedding that animals choose
Hemp hurd absorbs four times its weight in moisture, keeping stalls drier than straw or shavings
Protect livestock respiratory systems from "heaves" with dust-extracted material
Making concrete creates pollution. Our blocks actually remove it.

hemp fiber:
Fiber that replaces glass and synthetics
When pressed, our material tests 20% harder than the strongest woods available
Most factories make pollution. You can replace heavy fiberglass in car parts or panels with our fibers & trap pollution inside your product instead of releasing it
We don't wait for ships from overseas. We process 90% of the hemp grown in Virginia.

Back to our roots
Hemp is nothing new—it’s been a part of history for centuries. Our founding fathers started growing hemp in Virginia for sails, rope, and cloth.
Today, our family is bringing it back to build practical, materials that support both modern infrastructure and a healthier planet.

Grown by us, crafted for you
We’re with our plants every step of the way, from planting the seed to finishing the material, all right here in Virginia.

Cultivation
Hemp grows fast, ready in about 120 days. Each season strengthens our Shenandoah Valley fields instead of wearing them out.
Harvest & Prep
After harvest, the stalks are dried, cleaned, and baled, getting them ready for the next step.

Separation & Refinement
We separate the stalk into long fiber and woody hurd, the two parts that power everything we make.
Finished & Ready to Work
From there, the materials are refined and sent out to become hemp insulation, hempcrete blocks, and natural animal bedding.

The Whole Plant at Work
Every part of the hemp plant has a purpose, that’s what we love most about it. From food and wellness to building materials, nothing goes to waste.

seed
Hemp seeds are rich in protein and healthy fats. We use them in foods like our hemp seed cookies.

stalk, fiber,
& hurd
The stalk is separated into strong fiber and woody hurd, the materials we grow and process here in Virginia for hempcrete, insulation, and natural bedding.

flower
The flower produces cannabinoids, the compounds used in CBD oils and wellness products. This is where it all started for us.
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers for builders, farmers, and manufacturers exploring industrial hemp.
Industrial hemp is a variety of the cannabis plant grown for fiber, hurd, and other practical uses — not for intoxication. It’s used in building materials like hempcrete, animal bedding, insulation, food products, and more. It’s a working crop with a long history.
Yes. Industrial hemp is federally legal in the U.S. as long as it meets THC limits set by law. We grow and process our hemp in Virginia under state and federal regulations.
Hemp grows fast, requires fewer inputs, and creates materials that are lightweight, breathable, and durable. It’s not about replacing everything — it’s about using the right material where it makes sense.
Hemp shows up in more places than people realize — hempcrete walls, insulation, animal bedding, fiber composites, food products, and wellness items. It’s one plant with a lot of practical uses.
In our experience, yes. Hemp bedding is low dust, highly absorbent, and comfortable. Many farmers and animal owners notice cleaner stalls and easier maintenance after switching.
Yes. Hempcrete is non-toxic, naturally fire resistant, and designed for non-load bearing walls. It works alongside traditional framing systems and helps regulate moisture and temperature inside a structure.
For decades, hemp wasn’t legal to grow here, so the infrastructure never developed. That’s changing. As more growers and manufacturers come online, hemp is starting to regain its place in American agriculture and industry.
Right here in Virginia. We work with farmers across the Shenandoah Valley and handle processing ourselves — from harvest through separation into fiber and hurd.
